Each has a mini kitchen and cooking facilities, meaning you can prepare and provide your own meals without the need to venture out again after a long day walking. Our campers have optional loo's or a built-in option, electric running water and blow-air heating to keep you cosy on cooler evenings. Following the success of the first Spring Weekend last year , all keen walkers are invited to join in for a weekend of spectacular walking with sublime views, welcoming pubs, good food, and the great company of fellow walkers.
More long-distance paths converge on Kington than almost anywhere else in the UK. This Spring help celebrate one of those long distance paths with the 50th anniversary of the Offa's Dyke Association. Kington is a picturesque walking hub on trails including Offa’s Dyke and the Mortimer Trail and criss-crossed by ancient drovers’ routes. The Festival features over 30 walks varying in length from 1 to 14+ miles, led by experienced guides who will share their knowledge of the landscape, history, flora or fauna of this part of the Welsh Marches; there are also some self-led walks including a challenge for the more competitive walker!
