Whether it be a spring, a summer or a autumn walking festival, one of our cosy and comfortable campervans offers you a welcoming and unique place to stay up close to the festival. Each has a mini kitchen and cooking facilities, meaning you can prepare and provide your own meals without the need to venture out again after a long day walking. Our campers have optional loo's or a built-in option, electric running water and blow-air heating to keep you cosy on cooler evenings. As part of our commitment to encourage enjoyment of the great outdoors, we offer walking festival participants 10% off the hire cost. Book as normal and simply contact us to add the discount. The Ironbridge Gorge Walking Festival is offering nine days of free; varied and rewarding walks in and around this unique Wold Heritage Site. There is something for all abilities from short 3 or 4 mile afternoon or evening walks to all day treks with a different walk of approximately 20 miles on 7 of the 9 days and everything in between.
Come and see the Iron Bridge in all its splendour after the refurbishment and take the opportunity to cross it on more than one occasion. For the more adventurous, view the Gorge from the top of the Wrekin, having walked through the site to climb the hill.
Following the success of the previous years, we are offering a range of different walks to give you the opportunity to cover either 100 miles over 9 days or 60 miles over the Bank Holiday weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon)
All walks are free however pre-booking is essential as numbers are limited to 15-29 people; well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome on some walks but please check before booking.
