Choose where you're heading in the Cotswolds...

The Cotswolds covers areas in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
 and Wiltshire. Based in Dymock, Gloucestershire, we can be found at the edge of the Cotswolds -
you can be in Cheltenham in around 40 minutes, Cirencester  Tewkesbury, Stroud and Witney.

Quaint and charming, the Cotswolds will delight all and provide an abundance of photo opportunities. The largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, it’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing break exploring at your own speed following your own tailored itinerary. With you at the helm, you have the freedom to choose your own route and destination, with support and guidance provided, as you meander across the Cotswolds.

 One of the delights of visiting the Cotswolds is exploring the different areas, each with its own identity, yet all with those defining Cotswold features: golden stone and rolling hills, the ‘wolds’.
Explore quintessentially English villages of honey-coloured stone; take in splendid, lively market towns;
visit some of the country’s greatest palaces, castles and country houses; marvel at the natural world in acclaimed reserves and
at some of the most famous arboretums in Britain; walk through breath-taking landscapes along historic trails;
or make a splash in our lake-land area with its own inland beach.

There’s a vibrant buzz in places like Cheltenham, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Stroud and Witney.
 And an arty heartbeat too – which extends to the wealth of festivals that are testimony to the creative vibe of the region.

The Cotswolds is also richly rural: more than 3,000 miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore; ancient woodlands and wildflower meadows; 4,000 miles of historic Cotswold stone walls dividing up the landscape.
Unsurprisingly this landscape provides a rich harvest of with local cheeses, meats and drinks appearing prominently on the menus of the gastro pubs, old inns, colourful cafes and fine dining restaurants scattered generously across the region.

From fabulous gardens to amazing shops, we could go on … but why not come and see for yourself?

Things To Do in The Cotswolds
You’ll never be short of something to do in the Cotswolds!
A visit to the Cotswolds not only allows you to relax and unwind, but also provides the perfect opportunity for you to experience the many things to do and attractions on offer in the beautiful Cotswolds. A day out in the Cotswolds can be as relaxing, or as exciting, and as thrilling, as you want it to be, with
a whole host of Cotswolds attractions and Cotswolds leisure activities to keep you entertained.
You may choose to wander around Cotswolds historic houses and gardens like Berkeley Castle, Blenheim Palace or Sudeley Castle, or down a glorious avenue of trees at Batsford or Westonbirt Arboretum. The Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from wherever you are, so you can enjoy the variety of outdoor leisure pursuits, as well as just rambling or cycling along at your own pace.
If you are looking to keep the kids entertained, then you will be excited to know that there is a lot of choice. There are an abundance of animal attractions like Cotswold Farm Park, where your little ones can get up close and personal with animals, or Cotswold Wildlife Park where you can see a collection of animals and birds from around the world.
The Cotswolds has many historical stories to tell, with Cotswolds country houses, castles, churches and amazing heritage tales at the Cotswolds museums and visitor centres. There is also a Cotswold stone model village in Bourton on the Water, and of course a visit wouldn’t be the same without a trip on the Cotswolds heritage steam railway, which departs from Toddington to Cheltenham.
Thrill-seekers won’t be short of something to do either – whether it’s surfing the phenomenon of the Severn Bore inland wave, enjoying all manner of watersports at Cotswold Water Park, experiencing the exhilaration of riding or boarding at Stroud’s Rush Skate park or enjoying a bird’s eye view of the countryside from a hot air balloon.
Or for an altogether more relaxing experience, why not hire a classic car and enjoy a memorable experience winding your way through our beautiful towns and villages.
So as tempting as it is to snuggle up by a roaring fire or enjoy a gentle picnic in our stunning natural countryside, why not explore the huge variety of Cotswolds attractions on offer?
